Philosophy
Tran believes that self-fulfilment and abundance is obtained when one has the strength to follow ones dream, passion and potential. This involves being connected with oneself in order to hear and trust one’s own inner voice.
Tran believes health and wellbeing stems from one’s ability to openly express and communicate to oneself and others, on an emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical level. In addition, health is also influenced by one's connection with the natural environment. This indicates the need to respect both oneself and the natural environment to create harmony.
We are interdependent with our natural environment. A lack of acknowledgment of this interdependence results in a disconnection with mother earth and the very source that our survival depends on. To help connect us to nature, it is very healing to do gardening, plant trees, eat fresh whole foods, swim in the ocean, go bushwalking etc.
Interests
Tran loves to travel the world to experience and explore various cultures, their history and lifestyles. The past and present foundations of various cultures offers an insight into the wellbeing of human nature. She’s fascinated by the human psyche and spirit and is constantly gaining further understanding into these areas through literature and clinical experience. Her interests extend to the appreciation of various forms of art including photography, fine art, sculptures, theatre and dance.
Tran actively participates in sporting activities. She has competed in state athletics throughout her teenage years and has participated in dragonboat rowing for 6 years in which she has represented Australia at the World Championships in 2007. Currently, Tran maintains wellbeing through yoga, walking, daily meditation and utilizing natures’ gifts (herbs, plants, water etc).
Values
“If I diminish you, I diminish myself.”
(The Most Reverend Desmond M. Tutu)
Some values must be kept and passed on to future generations if we are to create a better future on earth.
I respect the African philosophy that praises another being with the wonderful quality, Ubuntu. The concept describes a person to be hospitable, friendly, generous, gentle, caring, open and compassionate. People with ubuntu have high self-esteem and self-worth as these are generated by knowing they belong to a greater whole.
Our health needs to be valued and cherished. To compromise one's health is to compromise one's life. Undoubtedly, no pills can ever replace eating well, living in a clean environment and regular exercise.
This is natural medicine. It is better for you.
'A healthy person is a happy and fulfilled person. They enjoy life more, respond better to stress, have an abundance of energy, are optimistic and confident.
Be that Person!
